About the Place

Maida Hill Place is a not-for-profit social enterprise set up to provide training and support for early stage food businesses, with affordable kitchen and menu-testing space. It was set up to be a sustainable hub on the high street and encourage economic growth in the local area.

The enterprise is particularly targeted at residents from low income backgrounds but provides additional support through workshops and food industry orientation sessions, which act as a foundation from which our business support package can be expanded.

We support community health and wellbeing by running healthy eating, food and nutrition courses and working with disabled learners. We achieve commercial sustainability by hiring out facilities to chefs, caterers and restaurateurs who need a professional kitchen to produce food, develop menus and train their chefs.
