Branding & Packaging Workshop & Dinner with Cinnamon Bridge

Our resident beverage accelerator Cinnamon Bridge has now launched with a 4 month programme to support 20 new food brands annually together with a strong set of business partners covering areas of relevant expertise, including branding, FMCG sales and marketing, research and finance.

As a part of the Cinnamon Bridge acceleration programme, series of group workshops are available for public.

 Branding and Packaging Workshop:

The third public Cinnamon Bridge workshop is dedicated towards branding and packaging design. In conjunction with one of the best branding agencies in London food start-ups will have a chance to analyse some of the top nudge designs and trends. The workshop will help to understand the common mistakes made by amateur designers and how to sustain the main communication messages.

The Branding Workshop will help to understand the doe’s and Don’ts of the successful packaging design. Our designers will teach you how to communicate with your branding partner to achieve the best results. We will help to understand where to search for the inspiration for magnificent branding examples that can help you to stand out of the crowd but at the same time to stay simple and clear with your positioning.

It will be an opportunity to listen to Lisa – founder of Mini Nom Nom’s and get some practical insights about how branding and design helped them to get the sales and the funding it needed.

Lisa Sohanpal (MBA, MSc, BSc) is the Co-founder, Managing Director and food lover behind the new, creative and challenger brand – Mini nom nom’s Ltd. Lisa’s experience spans 18 years in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices industry, where she led the business across 47 countries within Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia- Pacific and delivered exponential growth in her region. This high profile career required 80% of her time to be spent travelling during which, she was exposed to diverse, delicious and authentic world cuisines. Once her and her husband became parents to three young children, all under the age of four and whilst managing demanding careers, they realised just how difficult it is for working parents to provide convenient yet healthy, interesting, internationally inspired, home cooked style meals for their children. Whether dining in or out, the available products lacked flavour and authenticity. The idea for Mini nom nom’s – Healthy world foods for kids and grown ups – was born and Lisa left her corporate career and is now using her extensive business background and experience to dedicate herself to ensuring this new venture becomes a national and international success.

Mini nom nom’s is a new multi-award winning food brand that takes consumers on a healthy and authentic taste adventure around the world. Launching in July 2015, Mini nom nom’s is already a GOLD award winner for innovation (LUNCH2015) and winners in Best New Concept, Best Children’s Food Brand and Best New Brand or Business at the World Food Innovation awards, which were held in March 2015.

TESTIMONIALS

“When you're starting out it is hard to know when to take the leap out of cooking from your own home to paying rent. Maida Hill offered the flexibility my business needed in the early stages. The large combination oven and walk in fridge are fantastic... a dream come true after cooking at home”
