DRINKS RECEPTION & EXHIBITION – Alchemy, Art & Vibes

Tickets for this event include drinks and refreshments, and everyone is welcome to come so please do tell a friend.

We welcome vegetarians and most dietary requirements but please email events@barbedoun.com with the specifics before booking. All meat is sourced from halal providers and the bar is strictly alcohol-free, so we kindly request that no external drinks are consumed at our events.

About the Collective:

BARBEDOUN is a pop up bar based around alcohol-free alchemy, engineered by a creative diasporic collective. This alternative bar is the start of a bold move towards a new space in food and drink culture, for those looking for something more interesting than mocktails and juice.

Our beverages are inspired by traditional mixology, Temperance classics from the Occident and exuberant sharbats from across the Middle-East, South-Asia and beyond.

Our supper-clubs are based on drinks and broths, with carefully selected plates to accompany your glass.

As a collective we are committed to reinvesting our profits in order to develop sustainable arts and cultural projects, which highlight the experiences of diaspora communities in the U.K.

TESTIMONIALS

“When you're starting out it is hard to know when to take the leap out of cooking from your own home to paying rent. Maida Hill offered the flexibility my business needed in the early stages. The large combination oven and walk in fridge are fantastic... a dream come true after cooking at home”
